Your ride: Harley-Davidson Deluxe Soft tail

Riding history:   I started riding in October 2000 on a 1995 Honda Shadow 1100 Ace. My first day ride was 300 miles. I made a trip to Sturgis in 2004 on the Honda and again in 2006 on my 2005 Harley Heritage Soft tail Deluxe. Wow what a trip they both were!! I love riding my own motorcycle. It gives me a feeling of surreal amazement to see God’s creation everywhere I go. I enjoy riding with others in our group of UMME members at the church. I love meeting new riders that come to share in this ministry and for the love of God and for motorcycling altogether.

What you do?  Receptionist/ admin assistant

Other hobbies or activities:  I am an active member in the Emmaus community at our church. I am also active in the Kairos Prison Ministry at the Boyd Unit in Teague, Texas. I enjoy being an usher at the 9:30 service and any other service I can be used for in God’s house.

Family:  I have been married to my wonderful husband John for 40 years come this year on August 2.  I have 1 daughter, Taren and 2 grandchildren, Morgan who is 17 and John Michael who is 11. I love going to there band concerts, football, and basketball and baseball games. They are the apples of my eye and I am very blessed to be called Nana!

Why you ride:  I love the freedom it gives me. Plus the stares from people when they find out I ride my own motorcycle. I know I owe everything I have to God and I praise him everyday for letting me be who I am and enjoy riding with all my friends.
