The
2010 UMME Rally...
The
2010 UMME Rally will be held September 18th and 19th
at Granbury First United Methodist Church. Rally starts at
10:00a.m on Saturday. There will be motorcycle games and a
motorcycle ride thru the surrounding scenic countryside. We will
have a hamburger lunch on Saturday provided by the Youth of
First Granbury and a dinner prepared by a Chef on Saturday
night! There will be door prizes and entertainment that night
will be by Nancy Burks-Worcester, a professional ventriloquist.
Some of you have seen Nancy before and know how captivating and
entertaining she can be!
We will finish off the Rally by attending Church services Sunday
morning at First Granbury.
There are several motels in town for those who are traveling. We
have reserved a block of eight rooms for $79.00 a night at the
Comfort Suites. We would have reserved more but that is all they
would give us, so first come first served at these rates. The
number to call is 817-579-5559, ask for the group rate for the
UMME. There are 5 queen rooms and 3 king rooms, the queen rooms
have two queen size beds if anyone wants to share. They also
have a FULL breakfast every morning for the patrons.
All
those who are interested in meeting Friday night before the
Rally can join us for dinner at 7:00p.m. at Spring Creek
Barbeque on Hwy 377.
The
price this year for all this fun and fellowship is $35.00 per

on line. Important
- Please let Doug know at least one week before the rally that
you are coming even if you plan to pay at the gate. This is
important because they need a head count for the meals.
